Whoever comes with a good (deed) then for him, (will be) better than it; and whoever comes with an evil (deed) then not will be recompensed those who do the evil (deeds) except what they used (to) do.
View 80 More Translations ↓Whosoever shall come [before God] with a good deed will gain [further] good there from; but as for any who shall come with an evil deed - [know that] they who do evil deeds will not be requited with more than [the like of] what they have done
Whoso brings a good deed shall have better than it; and whoso brings an evil deed those who have done evil deeds shall only be recompensed for that they were doing
If any does good, the reward to him is better than his deed; but if any does evil, the doers of evil are only punished (to the extent) of their deeds
مَن جَاۤءَ بِٱلۡحَسَنَةِ فَلَهُۥ خَیۡرࣱ مِّنۡهَاۖ وَمَن جَاۤءَ بِٱلسَّیِّئَةِ فَلَا یُجۡزَى ٱلَّذِینَ عَمِلُوا۟ ٱلسَّیِّءَاتِ إِلَّا مَا كَانُوا۟ یَعۡمَلُونَ ٨٤
man jāa bil-ḥasanati falahu khayrun min'hā waman jāa bil-sayi-ati falā yuj'zā alladhīna ʿamilū l-sayiāti illā mā kānū yaʿmalūn
